The beautiful restored Perot Theatre, located in downtown Texarkana at 3rd and Main St, has been a landmark since 1924 when it opened as the Saenger Amusement Company’s “Gateway to the Southwest” theatre. Fully restored by the City of Texarkana, TX in 1979-80, the building is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Texarkana natives, H. Ross Perot and his sister Bette, through the Perot Foundation, contributed much of the restoration costs in memory of his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Gabriel Ross Perot. In recognition of this contribution, the Texarkana, TX City Council renamed the building – The Perot Theatre. The theatre annually hosts the Perot Theatre Series, as well as numerous rentals throughout the year.
The Ace of Clubs House is a historic house museum in Texarkana, Texas. Built in 1885, this Italianate Victorian home is uniquely designed in the shape of a club because as legend has it, money to build the house was from the winnings of a poker game with a lucky draw of the ace of clubs. Filled with original furnishings dating from the 1720s to the 1940s from the last occupants of the house, it is regarded as one of the best attractions in the country. “You rarely see a house that is so perfect in every detail and spans the years of a family having the house for 100 years.
The Four States Auto Musuem is a delight to visit. It is nostolgic and educational as well. The autos on exhibit change on a regular basis and it is worth a return visit. There is no charge or th museum. Kids will enjoy stepping on the hose to ring the Gas station signal bell.

Paintings, watercolors, Wood Arts, incredible carvings, eloquent glass pieces , pottery crafts and metal works of Art. 1894 Gallery is located inside the historic 1894 City Market. The place for local and regional art. The historic setting and the floating walls of art makes this truly a must stop for art lovers and architectural appreciation. The gallery is located in the Historic 1894 built Texas Produce/ Ritchie Grocery. A distribution building for the long gone neighborhood grocery stores. On the National Register for Historic Buildings, it has rose from the ashes to become 1894 City Market.
